הרבי מלך המשיח הוא הנשיא השביעי של חסידות חב"ד, והוא גם הנשיא האחרון. הוא קיבל את הנשיאות ב-י' שבט תשי"א (17/1/51) שנה לאחר שהרבי הקודם סיים את תפקידו בעולם. מאז הרבי הוא הנשיא והמנהיג היחיד של חב"ד עד עצם היום הזה. הרבי קידם מאוד את נושא הגאולה ומשיח, שהם מרכז העיסוק של חב"ד להביא את המשיח לעולם, ולמעשה הרבי הוא מבחינת המשיח הממתין להתגלות. כי המשיח יכול להתגלות סופית רק כאשר כל עם ישראל מוכן לקבל אותו. בשנת תשנ"ח יצא פסק דין רבני הקובע שהרבי עומד בכל התנאים שבהלכה לתפקיד מלך המשיח.
בשנת תשנ"ד הרבי התכסה מעינינו. יש כאלו שחשבו שהרבי עזב גם הוא את העולם, אבל זה לא נכון הוא נשאר איתנו רק אין אפשרות לראותו בעיני בשר אלא רק להתקשר איתו בדרך רוחנית. הרבי השאיר לנו כלים להתקשרות איתו: ראשית את איגרות הקודש, שהם אוסף של כל מכתביו, כאשר ניתן להכניס מכתב לרבי באיגרות והמקום בו נפתחת האיגרות זה התשובה של הרבי. כיום גם ניתן לעשות זאת דרך הרשת (ראה דף פתיחה לבלוג שלי) והרבה מאוד אנשים קיבלו עזרה, יעוץ וברכה מהרבי לאחר התכסותו דרך איגרות הקודש, יש על כך סיפורים רבים ומופתים רבים, שפורסמו בדפי חב"ד. בנוסף יש גם אמצעים נוספים בהם ניתן ליצור קשר עם הרבי, אחד מהם בו אני משתמש, הוא ספר החת"ת, אשר גם בו ניתן לשאול שאלה, ולפי הפסוק או משפט שנפתח, לקבל את תשובת הרבי. כל האמצעים הללו הם זמניים עד שהרבי יתגלה שוב לעיני בשר, כאשר עם ישראל יהיה מוכן לקבלת פני משיח צדקנו ברגע זה ממ"ש (ראשי תיבות: מנחם מנדל שניאוסון) הרבי הקדוש.

On the Lubavicher Rabbi King Messiah
The Lubavicher Rabbi King Messiah is the seventh president of Chabad Chasidism, and he is also the last president. He accepted the presidency on 10 of Shvat 5711 (17/1/51), one year after the last Rabbi had ended his roll in this world. Since then the Rabbi is the only president and leader to this day. The Rabbi advanced and promoted the topic of the deliverance and the coming of the Messiah, which are the main dealings of Chabad, to bring forth the coming of the Messiah to the world, and as a matter of fact the Rabbi is actually the King Messiah waiting to be revealed. That is because the Messiah can only be finely revealed when all of the people of Israel are ready and willing to accept him. In the year 5758 (1998) a rabbinical ruling was published that stated that the Rabbi fulfills all the requirement of the role of King Messiah according to the laws of the Jewish Halacha.
In the year 5754 we stopped being able to see the Rabbi. Some thought that he too had left this world, but that is not true, he is still with us, but we cannot see him with our earthly eyes, only contact him through spiritual means. The Rabbi left us tools to use in order to contact him: first of all the Igrot Hkodsh, which is a collation of all his letters, in which it is possible to enter a letter to the Rabbi, and in the page were the letter is entered is the answer of the Rabbi. Nowadays it is possible to do so using the Internet (see the opening page to my blog), and many people have received help, advice and blessings from the Rabbi after we stopped seeing him using the Igrot Hkodsh, and there are many tales and miracles connected with this that were published in the pages of Chabad. There are other tools which we can use to contact the Rabbi, one of them that I use is the book of Chitat in which we can ask the Rabbi questions, and according to the verse or sentence that the book opens, that is the Rabbis answer. All this means are temporary until the Rabbi is once again revealed when all of the people of Israel are ready and willing to accept him the King Messiah now and forever.
